Jamie Harris, Co-Founder of Alphaboardz, embarked on a transformative journey in 2021, driven by his passion for fishing and innovation. What started as a quest to revolutionize planer board design led Jamie to collaborate with his brother, David Stevens, and engage with the fishing community for feedback. Through perseverance and dedication, Jamie overcame challenges, iterated on his design, and ultimately launched Alphaboardz in 2023, receiving accolades for his groundbreaking product. His unwavering commitment to excellence and continuous improvement showcases a remarkable story of entrepreneurial spirit and a deep connection to the fishing world.

As fishing enthusiasts, we understand the need for high-quality tackle. Testing several planer boards revealed they were as easy to break as they were hard to store.

 So, we set out to create the fastest, strongest, and most compact planer board on the market. After two years of product development, we succeeded.

How it all started

In the summer of 2021, Jamie saw the pandemic-driven growth in the Outdoors Industry as an opportunity to answer the heartfelt calling to join the fishing community he had grown to love. A collaborative effort between him and his brother David began after a conversation with their friend Kaleb Page.
